Coastal Exterior Restoration
Full exterior restoration of a coastal residence battered by salt air and years of sun exposure. Stripped failing paint and damaged siding down to the studs, replaced rotted tongue-and-groove boards, rebuilt the rear pergola, and repainted the home in a modern coastal palette.
The Challenge
Decades of salt air had eaten through the original painted siding and left the framing partially exposed. Several runs of tongue-and-groove were rotted clean through, and the existing pergola was unsafe.
Our Solution
We staged the work in sections so the homeowner could remain on-site, replaced every compromised board with pressure-treated stock, primed and painted with a marine-grade system, and rebuilt the pergola with fresh structural lumber tied back into the existing deck.
