Interior Plaster & Water Damage Repair
Opened ceilings and walls in a dated interior to chase down hidden water damage and failing cast-iron drain lines. Cut back compromised plaster, reframed where needed, replaced the damaged supply and waste lines, and prepped every surface for a clean re-plaster and repaint.
The Challenge
Staining at the ceiling seams led back to rotted strapping and a partially failed cast-iron drain that had been quietly leaking for years. The adjacent wallpaper and plaster had absorbed moisture and couldn't be saved.
Our Solution
We opened the ceiling in staged sections, rerouted the waste line in new PVC, sistered compromised strapping, and skim-coated the walls and ceilings back to a paint-ready finish — all while keeping the home sealed off from dust.
